Hi, I’m Jessica. Nice to e-meet you!
How did I come to be a healer? Well, it all started with Reiki back in 2008. I was very skeptical at first, but I received a Reiki healing, and I felt it. I mean, I felt it, I felt the energy moving and I felt the physical, emotional, and mental reactions I had to it. I was hooked!

My first teacher, Giovanni Fregni, gifted me with all three attunements in the Usui method, making me a Level III Reiki practioner in 2012. Around that time I also started studying with my second teacher, Giuseppe Boccia, who deepened my experience with Reiki and widened my horizons introducing me to bioenergetics and to the book that finally helped me make sense of it all (and changed my life!): Barbara Brennan’s Hands of Light. It took me a year or two to read Barbara’s book, and in the meantime, under Giuseppe’s mentorship, I had started volunteering at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Reiki Program, where I gave Reiki sessions to patients, their family members, and staff. When I eventually got to the end of Hands of Light, I found information on the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. What?! They had a whole school for this?!? A full four-year program that actually gives a bachelor’s degree in healing science?! What?!?! It was my dream come true! I signed up as soon as I could, in the fall of 2015, embarking on a beautiful, magical, transformational journey, supported by wonderful teachers and classmates to whom I am forever indebted. And in June of 2020, I graduated, officially becoming a Brennan Healing Science Practitioner.

So that’s the long story of how I came to be a healer. Yet in many ways, it feels like this is still just the beginning!
